South East European Journal of Architecture and Design (SEEJAD) is an international, blind refereed peer-reviewed journal that promotes a wide range of research areas in the field of architecture and design. The journal promotes the advancement of original empirical and theoretical research papers in its comprehensive and interdisciplinary coverage in the related fields of architecture and design, providing a link between theory and practice for researchers and practicing proffesionals. SEEJAD seeks to follow the growth and enhance the research in the selected fields and provides a platform for the academic and the professional communities.

2023 Piranesi Award

The call for the Piranesi Award is published every year in mid-September. The purpose of the Piranesi call for applications is the selection of realized architectural works, which will compete for the 2023 Piranesi Award at the Piranesi international architectural exhibition, organized within the international conference Piran Days of Architecture.

Piranesi Award awards best architectural realization and student work from the last two years, built in a Central Europe region. Participating countries are Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia. Participating faculties are Graz, Spittal, Vienna, Banja Luka, Mostar, Sarajevo, Split, Zagreb, Thessaloniki, Budapest, Ferrara, Pescara, Trieste, Podgorica, Bratislava, Ljubljana, Maribor, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac and AA London.

Design Competition - YBD: “Here & Now” Hybrid Solutions for Contemporary, Living, Work, Exchange and Play

Cultural association "Mikser" from Belgrade with the support of "NUNC" furniture manufacturers from Croatia, is launching a special edition of the Young Balkan Designers regional platform competition, opening up a unique opportunity for them to join the "NUNC" company in their mission of reinterpreting the rich tradition and culture of the region into innovative and recognizable products of contemporary design . Young designers are invited to submit their projects no later than midnight on September 27. The International jury consisting of Marva Griffin (Italy), Henriet Val (Netherlands), Nikola Radeljković (Croatia), Jelena Matić (Serbia) and Maja Lalić (Serbia) will decide for the best design.
